Any1 recommend any gear box oil

Most of it is pretty much the same stuff and is mineral based oil.
We sell some nice fully synthetic stuff which is better at protecting against the shock loads, and will cope with very high temperatures without breaking down.

It might even smell better as mineral oil is like burnt sick lol

No need..Just refer to the Citroen Saxo handbook..

Engine oil - Total Quartz 7000 10w-40 Semi Synthetic or Total Quartz 9000 5w-40 Fully Synthetic..

Box oil - Total Quartz 75w-80 B.V. Gear Oil..

I couldent agree more! you may find a smoother gear change with synthetic oil but wont do nothing for performance.

And as for the smell i know what you mean, hate gearoil, especialy out of bikes lol

i've always just bought my gearbox oil from the main dealer and they always give me total branded. i really ought to start checking prices elsewhere though as i'm sure i keep getting raped with the prices.

The Total Quartz 9000 5w-40 fully synthetic oil is what Citroen use in the WRC and Super 1600 rally car's..

The gearbox oil they use is a 75w-90 Total oil..

All perfectly adequate for a standard and/or highly tuned Saxo..
