Relocation Washer Jets?

  1. #1
    Hi

I am going to remove my washer jets and want to know were to relocate them on the plastic bit and how? And what to use to attach them?

Also what washer jets to use? The current Saxo ones or a different type off another car? I do know other cars have was jets hidden but don't know what make of car and model?
    Pictures would also help.

    Thanks

you can get a single wiper conversion with jets on, or i think some people move them to the scuttle pannel. if ur moving them, you can pretty much fit any jets you want.

yea lot people if they move them, they put them in the scuttle panel mate.

Dont want a single wiper kit. Will be moving them to the scuttle panel, but I know actual know how to attach them to panel, and if I need to cut any plastic away ect. Will also need to extend the current pipe to the washer jets.

Any pictures will help greatly if you have done it to your Saxo / 106.

can you get pictures of this as i have never seen it done before???

you will need to drill small holes, for the jets to sit into. also the pipes will prob need lengthening

surely you could fit them onto one of your wipers?

Dont want them on my wipers mate. Thanks anyways lol.

what gd is that on your wipers lol

it would work! if you put them on the wiper that covers most the windscreen, and then just spray them down and across the windscreen as the wiper moves across.

    This does work.

The MG ZR's have them on the rear wiper, much better tbh

    like this:

    red - wipers
    black - windscreen
    blue - washer spray

do like me use citroen zx jets just sort them into the grilling in the scuttle panel
  14. #14
dont corsa c's have them in the scuttle? could use them if yes?
  15. #15
I have done this on mine mate.

Just drill a hole in the plastic cover on the scuttle panel. Hoses don't need lengthening - they will reach (within reason). Be careful not to drill through the wiper motor or any of the other bits under there though.

Jets: Original saxo ones aren't that good as they dont adjust enough and the water misses the windscreen. Can use the Xsara type ones that spray a mist though.

i always replace all my washer jets with peugeot 307 ones. they give a nice mist that covers the screen rather than 3 piddly jets that always get blocked up!
