How to fit a back box to the centre pipe???

  1. #1
Just got myself a race tube and a new back box, was going to have a pop at fitting it myself.

The back box is mild steel, and the race tube is stainless. Some people say not to weld different metals to each other??

So what else could i use to fit the two together??

    Cheers

try your local quickfit... when i got my pugsport i needed a clamp to join the 2 sections and i called in quickfit to see if they sold them... guy there just gave me 4 different sizes of clamps all for free!

and don't worry about asking questions, ignore the people saying you don't belong near a car! we all have to start somewhere and learn as we go.
