right,i found a geezer that said he could lower me torsion bar £50,so i said ok he came to me.....

he jacked car up took wheels off undone every thing on drivers side then passenger side without snapping anything.

he whacked fuck out the drivers side then moved it 1 click, took about half hour.

then he started whacking fuck out of pass side, tried everything even heated it right up and used can of lube but it wasnt budging...

anyway he left it like this and said pass side would lower anyway with the drivers on 1 click,so i took his word for this....it does look even

is this safe as my inlaw said it doesnt sound right

    help me please

sounds like a RAF job to me (rough as fu**)

get it sorted properly, and the chances are if he used heat he has destroyed the seals in the torsion bar and n a few months the bearing wil start to seize, nacker the stub pin and the wheel will start to lie in at the top.

Im sorry to say but it sounds like its going to cost you alot more in the end than if you had got someone to do it right!
