Black top 1.4 with vtr head, intake and cam

   As you may know my engines in a bit of a state so i was over on 106 owners and found a guy selling a low mileage 1.4 blacktop for £170 with ecu, box and shafts boasting a VTR head and intake manifold with vtr cam claiming its running around 100bhp without mapping
   
   Sound like horse shit to you ?

   are the 106 1.4's 75bhp?
   
   Is so, that head wont give u 25bhp straight away.
   
   Unless hes had other work done to it.

   i dunno much about the 75bhp blocks, but I know an ax gti/106 xsi head can give better performance. But I dont know enough about the CR of 1.4 75bhp, but in theory it could work, and the xsi/gti engine made 100bhp on its own management

   think the 75 i don't quite get if he means hes cammed it or its got stock vtr cams, ill ask more i find it hard to believe tbh
