removing manifold cover? update

    i want to remove my mani cover to spray my mani cover tomorow so how do i unclip the lambda plug thing? as i've been told before thats the best way to do it?

    on the lambda plug there is a red tab. lever it out carefully with a flat blade screwdriver, the plug will then be able to seperate

    unclip? You have to use a spanner on a mark2 to get the lamba sensor out the manifold and feed it through the gap of the cover..

    Just unplug the pre-CAT lambda at the green connector and feed it through the hole in the manifold cover - lambda can stay in the manifold.

    how anouying i just took the two 10mm bolts off then went to remove the other two bolts and there 9mm i aint got a 9mm bit lol the only peace im missing arhhhh tipical. im very tempted to just mask all the engine bay off and spray it while it's on the car, i ent tho knowing me ill get over spray some where

    the lambda thing unclips easy so that was a nice surprise, had a feeling that was gunna be a pain in the ass

    sure they are a 9 mm not just rusty and crumbled away?

    File gently around the edges of the 9mm bolts then use an adjustable wrench to undo.
