   i am in tyhe middle of buying an enigne to replace mine and i need to know if i need the transponder key with it? i'v getting the engine, loom, ecu and manifold, i'v already got a gearbox. do i need anything else for it to work??

   i think if you are using the ecu from the new engine you will need the transponder key but sort of sounds like apart from that your sorted mate

   is yours a 1.4 furio?? are u getting the same engine? if its just a simple engine swap u wont need the ecu as the new engine will work with your existing management.its only if your upgrading to the likes of a bigger engine ie.1.1 to a 1.4 or 8v to a 16v.thats just an example.hope it helps

   Hes getting a MK2 VTR lump and its going in a MK2 Furio.

   if the ecu you are getting with it is not unlocked then you will also need the key and immobiliser from the same car the ecu is from.
