What 266mm brakes?

   Hello,
   
   My current brakes are currently on the rivets squeaking notching knocking going mad so car is off the road atm...
   
   i want to upgrade to bigger 266mm brakes (calipers and carriers and discs)
   Then get some mintex 1144 pads.
   
   The problem is i only have 14" steelies and want to get some that are a straight fit under.
   
   Could people please list the cars with the 266mm brakes, can be fitted under 14" steelies and can have mintex pads ?

   306 brakes off the XSI / S16 fit under 14s.. they are 266

   so am i right in saying any lucas type caliper and carrier will fit under?
   
   and i can defiantly get 1144 pads for them ?

   Search for pads for the 306 XSI and see what you get.

   i got mine from a 306 xsi needed a lil bit of grinding, then was away i got the lucas calipers and then discs n pads from ebay in the mintex box set as there pretty cheap.. not sure if 1144's fitment tho

    I'm pretty sure i can get mintex 1144's for these cars:
    
    306 2l hdi 90
    306 2l gti/s16
    206 2l gti
    206 gti 2l 16v convertable
    206 2l hdi 90
