Rattles

Iya guys,

How do i stop the rattles that my sub creates?

Was stood outside my mrs's house the other day n saw a complete tit stuck in traffic in a golf gti blarin some shite out of it but it sounded friggin awful cos it was rattlin the whole car n i then realised that mine is the same!

What can i do to stop this or minimise it?

how loud are you bassing?
i got afew JBL GT4s maxed and it was jsut my number plate, so i took it off and stuck it on flat. now its jsut my boot panel rattles a little bit.

if you are giving it shit, you might find it could be anything from heat shield, to bax box, to tail gate, number plate, bumper!
turn it up get out and press thigns in , like push the number plate on to the boot, and see what makes the difference!

and are u de-wipered yet?

to stop my rattles, i put sound deadening on the boot floor, stuck the number plate on firmly with the adhesive pads (this was the loudest problem) - i also put a layer of loft insulation under the boot carpet and loads inside the actual bootlid

its all about parking in an empty place so u dont piss everyone off , putting the volume up and checking everywhere, putting ur finger on things to see if it makes the difference
