WINDOW TINT GLUE ugh!!!!

   i got my car almost a year ago now and since i've had it it's had some nice glue marks all over the back window. were the film tints were removed. how do i get rid of this.
   
   i don't wana mess up the heat strip things on my window. but nothing seems to get this crap off
   
   it looks like my back window is permanently iced over and it's getting on my tits.
   
   any thoughts?

   have you tried window cleaner wipes? or what about some break cleaner?

   ive tried pretty much every wipe type thing i can get my hands on. i haven't tried break cleaner :/

   try that... i use it at the garage i work at... cleans pritty much everything i've seen lol. i think you can pick it up at halfrauds or the likes of als or motorman
   
   oh and it's brake not break haha my bad

   petrol or white spirts are ment to be good to remove it

    white spirit and determination got it off in the end. i was doin it easily for 2 hours. don't know if it was worth it lol

    I had to do the same recently as I got pulled for my tints
    
    White spirits and a stanley blade scraped it all off

    use thinners you dont even need to scrape it . it just whipes out wet a cloth with thinners and it whipes it off

    Yeah my front tints were too dark, only letting through 34% light, minimum is supposed to be around 70%
    
    Got pulled over, officer tested the windows, then he pulled the tints off leaving a mess, then fined me £30 for the pleasure!
    
    Wouldnt have minded but it was the mess it left annoyed me the most

    terps? well tht purple stuff is the best, my mate owns a tinting comany and he uses it on my car, and to fetch the tint of my number plates

    i just wouldnt tint it in the first place.. if not then yu gotta know people .
    
    oh and ye the glue.. thats easy get some brake cleaner. best stuff i've eva used for that.. good for taking off the left ova sticker marks too
