  1. #1
Got some new disks, pads and callipers today they are oem pug 306/307 or xsara vts ones i think... but im not sure!

I have 15" tsw Pomonas and i was wondering if anyone has these fitted to a vtr/vts or knows if they will fit!?

I dont want to clean them all up and paint them and then for them not to fit!

Any help would be much appreciated!

woop first poll entry lol yep they will do the job nicely

    406 ones don't fit so i reckon 407 won't either.
  7. #7
407 is a newer model though. will be same as the 307 imo
  8. #8
But the 406 is different to the 306!

More to the point, are they even 4 stud?
  9. #9
lol, good call, they are 5 stud haha
calipers might fit with diff discs then.

According to my book here, the 407 discs are offset by 14mm more than the 307 ones.

EDIT: And the pads are different.

The calipers aren't going to fit with 307 discs i very much doubt.

407s seem to be all 5 stud.
and in the pics in his progress thread his are 4 stub.
calipers look identical to 307 in his thread.

oh yeah i think they are from a 406, im fact almost certain as i think the bloke i brought them off had a 406 so they would hav been from his old car... really worried now, so they 'are' going to fit after all!?
  14. #14
def not if they are from a 406.
  15. #15
crap im gonna txt him and check what car they are from then! he said they fit under his xsara vts alloys if that makes any difference?

so 307 will fit and 406 wont!

406 dont fit mate and 407 are 5 stud
  17. #17
EDIT : just got a reply and supposedly they are off a 306 or 307 or a xsara, how am i supposed to tell what they are from without a label? this is such a pain but i dont want to book it in to be done and for them to half way through say that they are the wrong ones!

Cheers for all your help guys its much appreciated

try it yourself. you dont need to disconnect your pipes. just unbolt your calipers, and discs. then fit new discs and calipers.
they look like 307 calipers imo.

Just got a straight answer from the bloke i brought them from and they are 307 hdi disks and pads and the callipers are single piston bosch ones!

Im painting them tonight and then getting them fitted on friday afternoon hopefully! cant wait myne have worn down so much they are like paper thin... not overly safe!

    Cheers guys!
    <williamsvts> you are a legend!

if they are def 307 then, which they look to be, then they will fit no probs.
