    it revs it self. always has done it but its getting worse. some one told it me was my cat converter. i know nothing about engines so i dunno if thats aload of crap or not?

    could be the coolant temp sensor.

    think they all do it. they shouldn't though. go to either probs and queries page or engine /performance and look at faq and idling problems has all the possibles there

    this happened to my brother car and was something to do with the ecu it cost him 30 pound to get it fixed so doubt it is fucked m8

    mine does it occasionally... no ill effects with the fuel consumption so it's not running rich or lean by the looks of things.

    mine does it, well did do it alot worse, something to do with the tick over, doesnt cost loads to fix but mines started to do it again odd times, its not a major problem though, unless its revving loads then its going to waste you abit of petrol, not a fucked engine though mate

    not to sure with citroen's but is it freezing when its doing it? could be like a cold start with the temperatures.
