Okay so I smoothed the grill out on my car just after xmas.. Loads of people saying you cant do it, it will crack ect ect...
well the proof is in the pudding and I think as long as its done properly you will have no problems, I havent painted it yet so its still in grey primer at the mo...
Right here we go.. Started out just a normal dimmer style grill...
Next i removed the grill and blacked out the bonnet support...
Then I cleaned off the paint..
Right, first I glued the grill in with 3m panel adhesive..
I smoothed it around the grill like a sealent, this means that hardly any fiberglass is needed to bridge the gap also..
Next i cleaned all the paint off around the grill..
then fiberglassed it..

Filler...
Voila!
