Gearbox RPM/Speed

   Just wondering if my car has an origonal gearbox in it or not
   
   
   Its Peugeot 206, 1.4 8v
   
   5th Gear
   
   80Mph = 4000rpm
   
   
   Seems quite high?
   
   
   What do you guys get rpm wise @ 80mph?

   I get 4000 on a VTS.
   
   yours sounds about right.
