torsion bar

   are torsion bars on a vtr/vts harder than on a 1.1

   According to the citroen parts database they will either be:
   
   17.9mm most likely 1.0 and 1.1
   18.3mm some models in between
   19mm obviously vtr/vts

   well im an amature at this modification stuff
   and its my first saxo so dont know too much about the car
   but the problem i am having is, when theres wait in the back my bumper hitting the floor at times, nevermind when its actually lowered
   so im thinking of uprating all suspension to solve the problem
   anyone help and give me ideas what i need

   Thats quite concerning, even with a car thats been lowered alot i have never seen any or heard of any where the rear bumper has physically hit the floor
   
   I would suggest that:
   
   a) your rear dampers are knackered
   b) check that you still have bump stops on the rear, could it be that the previous owner removed them to lower the car alot perhaps?
