Car 'bogging down'

   i was recently driving down a nice country road so put my foot down when my car hit 5000 revs is seemed to lurch asif it wanted to pull alot harder but it was stuttering anyone had this problem before or what could it be?

   usually its a breathing thing. my mates cat was blocked and same thing was happening until it suffocated itself completely one day

   cheers boys will have a little investigate i have a 4-1 and a str8 through onto a standard vtr back box for stealth though will try my old exhaust to see if it is the back box

   I had this problem, then Luthor1 cleaned my throttlebody and it's been great since

    Also, I couldn't really claim I had cleaned it because
    a) I didn't
    b) the difference between driving the car before and after given a four week period between runs for me meant the characteristic changes were that much more dramatic. I never asked him to clean it, he just decided to have a look and found it was gunged to high hell.

    Unplug everything connected to the throttle body, undo the bolts. Then unhook the throttle cable and it'll come off.
