is a powerflow exhaust system any good or would i just be better getting a scorpion or piper system for my 2000 vtr?

powerflow!i hate them!if your after a custom system go to exhausts uk!powerflow are known for doing dodgy fitting and their crap IMO!if you cant get an exhausts uk one get a scorpion system their quality.

As said above powerflow are more for sound than anything else. Everyone I know with a powerflow exhaust has had problems with them.

Anyways. Powerflow. Tis a franchise, so literally any cowboy can apply for licence to sell and fit these.
The exhausts are ok, but the quality of workmanship/labour (fitting wise) differs from place to place.
I've been back twice with mine, but its fine now. Only had slight blowing. But with the lifetime guarantee, they cant argue really. lol

As for performance gains, I'd be more inclined towards the Scorpion system. Powerflow for looks and sounds.

I've spent about £600 on my powerflow system on one of my saxos. just getting it to the right spec really. It has increased the power, or torque really.. slightly but its nice and burbly (which is what I wanted at the time).

If you want a quality exhaust made to your specification, looks,sound and performance wise. Check out Carwarx systems. I've had one installed on my VTR turbo, specifically made to increase the power as much as possible in correspondance to turbo etc.
I've noticed a GREAT increase due to having such a quality exhaust installed.
