#2i have toyo tyres on mine, never let me down
-
#3they are shite. well no thats wrong. in the dry, they are awesome, seriously good! they never let go. but in the wet, they are so bad its unbelievable.
-
#4just found some toyo t-1r for £130 for 4 mite buy them wanted r888 but too expensive
-
#5and the R888 is not a good road tyre
-
#6yeah so ive been told but wanna do a few track days so will t-1r be any good on the track ??
-
#7they will be ok, not as good as R888s though.
But unless you have two sets of wheels I really wouldnt advise using R888s as the main tyres, they are awful in standing water/ice.
I had the pleasure of driving mine with R888s in the ice and it was lethal.1 user thanked this post: -
#8cheers for the advice mate will stivk with the t-1r idea then
-
#9if you want R888s best advice is run 2 sets of wheels
-
#10What about Goodyear Eagle F1's? Are they a good compromise for a road and track tyre?
-
#11yokos are amazing mate, i run tham as a track tyre.....they not the best on the road, but ok.

#12As previously said, theyre good in the dry, shit in the wet and damp. Also the sidewalls are rediculously soft, and they get holes in the shoulders. And theyre size 50.
I got toyo proxes T1-R's now, after the paradas, and theyre just as good in the dry. Wet i dont really know as i dont push it in the wet.
