    hi ppl, ive got a saxo vtr and have put a 106 gti engine into it, the lad i bought it from told me it was chipped and cammed, i had my doubts! i fitted the engine about 7 months now and the car goes like stink! so a few weeks ago i had a dyno run and the was running 130bhp hence no chip or cams i was gutted but happy at the sam time as the is fast but has loads of potential to go faster as i only have a manifold,de cat and ram air.
    so i was wandering what cams i should get without havin to change internals and messing about too much. i have been lookin at the cat cams 708's and a remap . . ..
    any ideas

    yeh, 708's or their equivalent are a good mod!

    only ever heard good things about 708s, think theyll be what i end up getting in the hopefully near future

    i dont no mate, everyone on sax-p knows abour my underpowered cammed vts. it is a possibility that is could, could not not be cammed. but there is one way to find out. simply take your cam covers off! somewhere on the cam shafts there should be some sort of stamp normally saying "sport cam" possibly painted sleightly if it has been cammed, have a look mate
