Engine light Intermediately on and car juddering

   Hi guys,
   
   My engine management light i think (orange , and square like) came on and off today. the car seems to be juddering alot in all gears. e.g was in 2nd going nowhere when accelerating, went to first and was struggling again.
   Doesnt idle, judders up and down when stationary.
   
   Any ideas?

   Thanks, Going to take it to my local garage tonight, but that is 10 mins away, worst comes to worst, ill take it there.

   hey guys,
   
   I got it fixed, new spark plugs and coil something... running fine, but the stupid light is still on any ideas?

   Did the garage reset the light...needs to be turned off by a garage or AA man or someone like that after the fault is fixed

   hehe you with the AA? they can turn it off for you just tell em your light on and you dont know whats wrong

    nope you can buy self diagnostics machines online but its not worth it imo

    cant you just dissconnect the baterry and then attach it again?

    my mate had loads of problems with his coil they tend to go sometimes on saxos

    Yeah my cil pack went. Sucked balls tbh lol. Yeah garage should reset it, take it back to em and ask em do it for free considering they didn't do it in first place.

    jefferies told me 50 quid + vat for a rolling road, went AP and got it for 30 instead.
    i would assume the garage would turn it off for free if not call them shite and never go back

    i know a few ppl hav had probs with there imobiliser light latley i ahve too on occasion, not startin str8 awayay and imob light flashing as it wnt start, funnilly enough it started and drove all the way home on a 7 mile journey las week with the imob light flashing, i took a vid too haha, any ides? runs fine and hasnt tried not to start for months? jus fittted an s1 inlet but wiring was spot on?
