de-cat

   Looking at getting the supersprint race centre section for my vtr, I've heard that when putting a de-cat on it can make the engine management light come on and a lamda sleeve would be needed to prevent this, is this correct?

   if its sleeved it should be fine.

   but arent the sensors in the manifold?? sooo whats the problem? none?

   even so there arent any sensors in the center pipe

   I've got the mk 2 vtr it's an early one with the cat under the car, I just got told by someone that if I de-cat it the engine management light will come on?
