   what should i buy car is totally standard would quite like a back box but the place near me that makes them (freeflow) want 130 bucks for a backbox

   haha vtec, how about starting with an induction kit? green, raceland, cheap bmc, viper if you can find one? maybe get yourself some lowering springs?

   Doesnt he mean freeflow as in like a performance one? they are sometimes refeered to as free flowing as there less restrictive than standard.

    1st thing, he actually came on asking a reasonable question, what can he get for 70 quid, what dusnt help is that people then come on and start taking the piss again... coupled by the fact that he rises to it.... for 70 quid mate, probably looking at some sort of induction kit or a 2nd hand back box, try ebay

    for 70 quid you could easily get a nice 2nd hand K&N open cone and a nice back box if you do some haggling / prepared to scan forums with as much commitment as you use searching for an argument

    you will struggle to get a brand new backbox for £70 so as i said try ebay, they usually have some decent ones or have a look through the for sale section on here or pistonheads

    For £52 mate you can get Quick Shift From Kam Racing, bitch to fit, but is gtreat fun when its finished! But the Indution kit is the obvious one! On my old VTR i had a pipercross indution kit that was great in my eyes! And it was, "Woohoo" £70

    if you want raspy get a smaller exit tail pipe ie.2inch/ 2.5
    
    i dont rate sportex but people on here reccomend them...saxo 123 seems to swear by them everyday LOL

    Search ebay some more mate. There's usually a Magnex box on there somewhere. Look nice and subtle bit aren't loud and chavvy. Fit to standard system as well
