vtr kent cam, help!

hi all. i have chance of a kent cam(fast road) for my 97 vtr. Will it make much difference in performance? how hard are they to fit? Thanks Matt

on its own it wont make much difference. Wiht otehr mods it will do a lot more. Also depends on exactley what cam it is

Easy to fit? have to remove the head, re time, refit and tension cam belt. Sound easy?

i have a pipercross viper induction kit, de-cat and full straight through exhaust. So will it make much difference?(its the sports cam) My mate has a piper cam an his car back fires like fu*k. Why does the head have to come off to change the cam?

wll you could unbolt enigne and tilt it and slide cam out but thats not exactly easy either. Cam on vtr is contained with in the head and doesnt lift out like vts.

It will give a small gain but get it remapped and it will make more of a difference, a manifold would also benefit you a lot
