mines just for the first few seconds to. kinda embarasing when I pull outa the petrol station and people already think I'm a twat for having a big exhaust to then die out still in sight. not saying I'm one of those lemons that pulls out of the station and guns it....that would be silly!

Mine does this too, but when I dip the clutch its revs free again, yours the same?

I reckon its something to do witht the timing as I'm finding alot of unburnt fuel in my exhaust. Either that or I've got a knackered head.

The mighty Haynes manual suggests its an air leak somewhere on the inlet side.

I was thinking it was the timing too as I've got excess fuel coming out the exhast and ocasianally turning into flames. My cars been remapped so maybe thats whay too much fuels going to the cylinders...?

Mines had a new fuel pump recently, I thought about the fuel pump and injectors but then thought 'why would it overfuel' if something on the fuel side wasnt working?

I take it we all own single plug ECU's?
