Power steerings too good lulz.

I did a service on my car. This is what i did:

    Fuel Filter Change
    Old oil out
    Changed Oil Filter
    New oil in
    Change Sparkplugs for NGK

Now the steering has gone proper light, i mean i can turn corners with two fingers. Which i suppose for most people is a good thing, but i prefer that little bit of stiffness? To feel the road if that makes sense

Talked to a mate (apprentice mechanic) and he said his gf's saxo was exact same after he serviced it for her but she loves it.

    Anyone else experienced this?

Is there anything i could do to make it abit stiff apart from pull the powersteering fuse out lulz.

Also fitted a lower strut brace at same time of service (maybe this affected it?)

You changed the oil and fuel fliters + Spark plugs ~

    And this lightened the steering?

Exact same thing has happened to me since I've fitted a lower strut brace this week, I've been wondering what's up with my car. Now that you've said you got the same thing though I'm wondering if it could be the brace.

Handling around corners has improved just that the steering wheel feels light.

    Sounds like the exact same.

Handling is much better with the lower brace.

    Could be the brace.

    Cheers mate.

could it be something like the engine running better creating more voltage and there for the pas pump working better.

very much doubt it as its a daft thing but the only possibility i could think of

My power steering pump is a wanker. It works sometimes then sometimes it cant be arsed. Fucks me off, it's currently not working. But if you give the wires under the bonnet a wiggle it will come back on. It is a bag o' shite
