Head lights and Fog Lights

  1. #1
    Hello,
I have upgraded my headlights (H4) from orignal to the Osram night breakers, and the side lights to osram cool blue..,
These lights looks still a little yellow if you glare at it, but when you're in the car it looks more blue/white ish. The sidelights didn't change much..
I want to get more white but still bright headlights, i have researched and found the Philips Crystal vision, which i don't know how white or bright they are? are they better than the osram night breakers? also are they still E marked that will pass MOT?
Also, I want fog lights that are more white and has a little blue tint, which i found the Philips Blue vision (H1), are they okay aswell?
Last but not least, thes sidelights, i want them to be whiter aswell, that can be more noticable, but not stupidly blue..
    Thanks!

You are never going to get a proper white light without a xenon hid conversion kit.

Led sidelights will cure your yellowy sidelights.

Fogs, dont bother as you shouldnt drive around with them anyway.
I have mine wired up to my high beams so i am going to get some high wattage bulbs in there.

Lol, I went out 1 hour ago, to pop down to tescos.... pulled out behind this skoda.., then he suddenly pulled over,, then 1 minute later i realised he was behind me flashing his blue lights under his mesh.. I was like oh shit?,
I had my front fog lights on... then i got fined £30.
I never knew we're not meant to have front ones on lol, i thought it's just the back one that confuses drivers behind brake lights.. but NOo he has it dazzels the people driving towards me...
    How unlucky? lol,

I don't want to change my headlights to HID, and have more excuses for cops to stop me.. I just want something more little white and bright. I think the Philips Diamond vision is too blue, and people say the osram night breakers are better than philips crystal vision> Also are the LED sidelights legal and will pass MOT? any ideas on which ones are good? links please? Thankyou!

Unlucky about the fog lights dude. You see so many people driving around with them on some people must think they are ok the same as you.

Led sidelights are perfectly legal my old car passed the MOT with them on as long as they are the white ones.

For headlight bulbs. I dont think any will be illegal unless they are the 100w versions. Halogen bulbs will always have a bit of a yellowy tinge to them.

Here is some that i have:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2X4-LED-Xenon-...1%7C240%3A1318

I had the 6 led ones too but they didnt fit through the holes in the headlights. I put 4 led ones in like the ones above and they are great.

I put the 6 led ones in my number plate light. Looks awesome.

Ill also add, the 4 led ones above will fit: Front sidelights, Interior light, Boot light and the rear number plate lights. 6 in total i have.
