106 Door Cards

   Going to view some gti leathers later this evening but im unsure whether to take the door cards aswell or just use my vts ones?
   
   obviously it would be better having the gti ones as they match but i dont like the style of them as much as the vts ones
   
   also isit easy to fit them as the electric mirror switches are in a different place to on the saxo ones.....

   Keep VTS ones. Possibly re trim them. The 106 ones are too big and chunky imo.

   yeah i dont really like the design tbh but atleast they match lol, re-triming wont happen i wont get round to that, garuanteed
   
   really want to know whether its easy to just swap them over? i get scared ones wiring comes into play

   ye i dnt like the gti doorcards either mate, they jus dontmatch with the dash. what colour are ur vts ones?

   i got the dark grey mk2 vts interior so it will go quite well with the gti leather, i think ill just keep them on, less hassle

   get them and swap them ober. people say that they dont match the dash properly and tbh they dont but its not as obvious as people make out. you also will need the interior mirror covers aswell if your fitting the 106 door cards.
   
   you will need to drill some holes for them to fit properly but this is pretty easy. its all explained in the guide in the sticky at the top of the Stying section

   going to fit the seats tomorrow and see what it looks like with vts door cards, if its shit ill check that guide out, thanks

    Ive got a gti interior with vts door cards an all im gunner do is re-trimm them..

    ive got GTi leather in mine with VTR door cards and tbh it looks fine lol i will prob get round to re-trimming them but they look fine

    could always get the black plastic ones from a later furio/ earlier desire/1.1 like mine , if ya dnt like the gti ones (sorry small pic)

    GTi doorcards are pain in the arse to fit, line them up, drill etc etc, but they look fecking awesome when done right!
    
    Took me 3 days fit mine, but I am abit anal about my stuff! LOL

    Nah.. dont worrie they are simple as to fit.. took me about 10 minutes per card to fit just follow the guide and they go really well with the GTi seats and are really nice and soft instead of the hard plastic saxo ones.

    tbh i think this would be best as i prefer the style of the saxo door cards, not sure what to do yet, anyone want to swap some gti door cards for saxo 1.1 desire cards or the plain black ones from any other model??
