#5how much is the pipercross one for sale mate
-
#6hi yeah im quite intrested in this aswell, i have a pipercross to go on but with no fittings or anything, the standard filter looks to have alot of pipes and stuff going to it and stuff, but if i remove all the air box where do i plug the sensors and stuff into? i heard if your dont put it in right you loose all your power?
-
#7All you have to do is remove it all lol, i bought my filter second hand so im waiting till pay day to get the tubing, but all you need to do is remove 1, 2, 3 on the below image,

And then the Filter is put into the inlet where the box goes into. The pipe which is after the box is a oil/pressure release valve (type thing, or so ive been told) then tighten the jubilee clip up so that it wont fall off, looks like this:

Wow! engine looks dirty in that pic
needs a clean soon!

#8somtimes not that simple if u got the round style air box with the air sensor on u will av 2 relocate it on the tubing from the filter u will also av to fit a breather u can buy a t piece as there are 2 pipes that needs a breather ( if u have 2 pipes going 2 airbox) sounds complicated but it aint , dont make the same mistake as me and buy a universal there crap
-
#9What breather do I get to put on the end of the pipe from the rocker cover? (3)

#10i just put one on mine and it took me litrally 7 mins, didnt get signed out of here so i didnt have to log back in lol

#11right so yeah i do have the round type like you say and i also have a piperx air filter, shall i sack that off and buy one specific to the engine? i have a piperx breather aswell so do i jus need a t peice to fit that on? if i buy a specific filter will it have somewhere for me to put the sensor in? also what filters you recomned?Quote:somtimes not that simple if u got the round style air box with the air sensor on u will av 2 relocate it on the tubing from the filter u will also av to fit a breather u can buy a t piece as there are 2 pipes that needs a breather ( if u have 2 pipes going 2 airbox) sounds complicated but it aint , dont make the same mistake as me and buy a universal there crap

i've taken off the standard air intake system (that droopy flexi thing with a vacuum looking head on it), and fitted an air fliter there, onto the box with the engine pipe coming in.
I want to put an oil breather on, where do i put it and how? -

#24That is the daftest place to put the filter, tons of heat soak,it needs an induction pipe routing round to the slam panel. Then the filter placed onto the that.Quote:All you have to do is remove it all lol, i bought my filter second hand so im waiting till pay day to get the tubing, but all you need to do is remove 1, 2, 3 on the below image,
