1.4 gear box ( VTR )

   elo just bort a 1.4 gear box on ebay as i needed a new 1, what will the out come be? qucker i hope? musch inprovement?

   ive got a furio gearbox on my vtr its ok not huge improvment, its good from 1-3 but 4-5 is a bit slow but mine needs a good servvice lol

   did u have to do anything to the gearbox be4 puting it in ? if yr speedo working ok ?

   iirc the 1.4 gearboxes were higher geared, more economical? mite be wrong, mite be a different car lol.

   they are very similar doubt you will notice anything

   i have got a 4 speed box in my vtr. little bit more acel from 1st to 3rd but 4th is shit
   and i dont have a 5th gear. but beware you will use alot of clutchs and thrust
   bearings lol. plus it could whine loads too
