twin fan houseing

   i have a furio is it simple to fit the twin fans off the vts or not

   Why do you want to put one on a 1.4? It just a waste of your time and effort.

   i am doing al these king ov thing sfirst before the engine rather than the outher way round plus am gunna paint the fans looks good i think

   Why post If your just going to be bordering on rude and unhelpful? There are too many people on here that have their own opinions, and throw them around as if they were fact. Maybe he's preparing for an Engine conversion. In which case it's not just "a waste of his time and effort" but actually shows careful planning to make sure he get's it right before he jumps in balls first.
   
   On topic: I have a feeling it's a fairly straight forward job to do, but can't remember the specifics of it. Look around peoples progress threads who have done a VTS conversion, or If you haven't already, try searching for "VTS" and "Fan" in the search bit. I'm sure I've read exactly how it's done somewhere on here.

   wouldnt it be better to fit a vts rad aswell if you are doing a conversion eventually

   All im saying is you dont need to do it. Ive got a 16v conversion, and i dont have a VTS fan or rad. Guess what, it saved me money. Probably around the £120 mark. Buy some brakes instead. 206 GTi brakes.
   You just dont need a VTS cooling setup.

   VTS dunt have twin fans any way, the only twin fans on a standard VTS is on a French one that had air con.
   I think you can either put the ones fom a 1.6 8v 306 that has aircon on or just wire one in on a separate switch

    had a look at the one i bought the other day, the push fit connectors were different, and didnt look but are the mountings different?
