its a catch tank, it doesnt need to be anything special, its just there to collect oil vapour, which is why people use coke cans etc lol!

I have got mine on the engine block. There are a couple of holes on the left side where the original bracket for the airbox is. Use the bracket provided in the kit. I just used one bolt and it's fine.

i had a relentless can for mine and it worked well enough
as ryan said its purely to collect vapour so you only need something that wont leak lol

Bought one straight after I posted last for £30 odd, been told it doesnt matter what it looks like and they dont perform better for more money (supposedly some people use coke cans! lol)

Its got 3 inlet/outlets on it though, anyone know where they go? 1 from engine, presuming 1 is a drain pipe but theres a third one! ???

    Work as well don;t they?
  23. #23
You'll need to use the 15mm fittings for the piping as the 9mm ones are too small

Just bang it in a coke can, job done

You'll have two on top of the tank. One will be from the crankcase, and the other can be left open or you can fit a breather filter. This is how the engine will breath, so it's very important you don't block it up.

And yes the one on the bottom is the drain pipe.

Sweet so 15mm fittings, im going to get an oversized breather filter too! cheers for the advice! I dont want to just use a breather filter as it'll just spit oil all over my engine etc... and it'll smell like crap!
