knockin out arch's

   ive found someone who can lower my car for 30 quid but i was just wonderin what should i do about the lip on the arch.
   
   my mate had his 106 lowered and his arch had 2 be knocked out i was wonderin if i would have to do the same

   how much are you lowering it by first off then im sure someone can tell you if it will rub

   ill probaly lower it between 40 n 50 mm not sure yet and ive got 15in alloys

   shouldnt have to do anything to the arches then ive got mine lowered 50mm with vts wheels on and they are 15'' and dont rub

   The metal lip? The metal lip can be knocked back, go to any local garage and they'll tell you where they reccomend, thats where I went

   yeah the metal lip i was gonna do it my self but if its not gonna rub i should be ok.

   I flattened mine with a pair of pliers, time consuming but worked perectly, lost a bit of paint though, but its covered by the trim so i not too worried

   With the VT kit you'll be fine, its only flat arches.

    my phase 1 vtr is lowerd abt 55mm on the rear an im running 195/55/15 an had now problems even wiv 2 ppl in the back

    had the same problem with my flat arch. took it to a garage, they banged it back, and even sprayed over it to stop rust, only cost £30!! bargain
