   Anyone know where I can get my alloys powder coated in antracite? All prepped just need them colouring? Hopefully in Lincolnshire, if not then East Mids

   you not feeling doing them urself then laquring them. prob work out a bit cheaper i did mine black this week just take ur time n the finished result should look good

   i know someone in scunthorpe who does it for 40 per wheel plus vat, sure he shot blasts them first aswell

   doesnt sound too bad tbh some places i look at charge alot to have them blasted aswell. spose you will know your getting it done properly

   Don't fancy it myself, would feel confident doing it but would be happier having them done properly, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to things like this so.......
   Been quoted £250 for taking tyres off, sandblasting, prepping, primer, paint, laquer and tyres back on again which doesn't seem too bad.
   Any way of contacting this guy in scunthorpe? Don't want just a bloke in his garage doing it though but if he has the right stuff then £40 a corner ain't bad.

   Electrostatically charged powedered paint is sprayed onto the wheels, then they're put in an oven where the paint particles melt to form a continuous film on the wheels so you get a perfect finish.

   I can get you his number on friday when im back at work, our place have used him before...it works out cheaper from him to do it than us to prep and spray them.

    hes good ive seen his work before, i worked at the garage opposite temporarily for a bit and i used to see what and how he did. most or all of the stuff hes done is absolute top quality, including ferraris and other top motors.

    Just tell him what you want, im sure normally you can take your car there and they do everything for you, just have to ask if you ring.

    cheers for that mate, will get on it
