    Un-educated guess:

There should be four injectors, and they inject petrol into the engine somehow. Please correct me if i'm wrong! lol

    Mine did this, was coilpack.

so you are certain its the injectors, yet you dont know what they do.

    what the fuck ?

how can you assume its the injectors when you have no clue where they are or what they do.

I have now the same problem. But there is diagnostic trouble code "1&3 cilinder injectors open circuit". I'm going to check injectors electric resistance and wiring to injectors .What is the metod to check coilpack and how much costs coilpack in UK?

You can get a new from about 45 quid.
Can't remember off teh top of my head, But i used a multimeter to test the resistance on both coils, (1-3, and 2-4) And was first time i had ever checked one and noticed a massive difference between a few readings. There is instructions in haynes manual. Also when i got the new one i checked the readings on that one first before i fitted it. And it proved that mine was royally rogered!

test your plugs and pack, get a haynes. Remove your spark plugs and leave the HT leads on them, make sure the plug your going to test is touching the engine block and the person holding it is holding the rubber lead and able to see the tip of the plug, get a friend to turn the car over.

You should see a blue spark, consistantly hitting the little tip of the plug. If one works but another doesnt swap them over and see, then you can see if your plugs (£20) are wrecked or your coil pack (ZOMG££££££££) is wrecked.

It should take you about an hour or two with a haynes manual and some patience. On a scale of one to ten on difficulty id give it a 3.

Wouldnt the VTS have the coil pack sitting on the plugs? Always wondered if they can be checked the same way as above???

Yea, only way to test on the S is to change the plugs and hope. Its pants. Dont know why but i misread and thought he had an R.

    FS has an S.

Change the plugs and check your MAP sensor and lambda. When mine were nakered they kept giving coilpack errors on the diagnostic.

Same as all the multipoint engine's then. Only way I could test mine was with a meter.

I checked the coilpack today. Followed the steps by Autodata manual.
There were neither circuit nor resistance between terminals 1&3 and 2&3. Others terminals have circuits. So i think terminal 3 is defective. Secondary resistance was 15.3 kOhms on the hot coil and 14.5 at the warm coil.
Had a problem removing air box above inlet manifold. So injectors resistance are not checked
