Few questions about spoiler removal.

    Hello,

I'm wanting to remove the standard spoiler off my Saxo, I believe it's a MkI and bolted to the roof. Is it a simple case of opening the boot and unscrewing the bolts on the inside then removing the spoiler? Also what size grommets would I need to plug the (presumably) left holes? Are there any unused grommets about the car I could use for the job?

    Cheers all!

unless you going to smooth the holes or put a different spoiler on. id leave the orignal spoiler on.

could be glued mate. What reg is it? I know my spolier on a 98 R is glued to the boot.

Anyone else with some experience in this? My post shot to the bottom of the page due to some cretin deciding to reply to 50 threads with nonsensical dribble.

    Thanks.

wouldn't have thought theres any "unused" gromits around the car you can use - would be a bit pointless by citroen to do that to be honest...

you could get a pack of gromits from halfords though. The spoiler may have marked the paint underneath it or depending on the colour, it may have weathered noticibly.

i dont see the point in removing it personally, especially if it is bolted on.
