is my saxo a standard colour????

   when i have the new bonne and spoiler part of my boot needs respraying and the holes welding up. but everyones not sure on the colour im hoping its a standad citroen colour.

   think thats "wicked red" is it not? couldnt tell you the paint code though. it'll be marked next to your passenger strut top though

    Go to a respraying garage and ask them to check, mine was near the chassis number in the engine bay!

    its venetian red
    
    wicked red wasnt used untill the mk2s, allthough very similar colours, the venetian red seems more dull and lacks the "depth" that the wicked red has
    
    id be more concernd with the spoiler and bonnet rather than what colour it is tbh

    ive stated how many times bonnet and spoiler are going. cheers though guys for your help i cant wait to get rid of the spoiler and bonnet, its worth something to somone as there both real cituning items.

    It is 100% Venetian Red. They did that colour from 1997-1998 on the VT models and up to 2000 on the non VT's
    
    Same colour as my first VTR

    lets just say i didnt pay stupid money for it when i think of the battered saxo vtss i looked at before hand this was worth every penny. cheers for your help guys. ive just bought a fiberglass badboy bonnet thats not too over the top, spoiler and bonnet arnt getting painted red now but the top of the boot will need to be still. glad you can varify that its vanitian red.

    i cant wait to get rid but im going to have to put up a bit longer with them because ive come up with what i think are some nice plans for the new bonnet and spoiler. will certaily be different ive not seen it done yet. lips are sealed till its been done.

    definately veneitan red, other may have faded if it hasnt beed protected by wax or not polished
