Final Bits for vts conversion

Well ive bought a gti engine to in still need to get me a single plug vts loom for it! Am i right in thinking all the conectors on the vts loom wil plug straight into the gti engine without any modifications?

After doing alot of research on here it seems that plumbing the fuel return is going to be better than blocking it up!

Are the vtr and vts engine mounts the same or am i needing to buy vts engine/gearbox mounts?

What are people opinions on the radiators and cooling fans? After reading alot about conversions it seems some convert to a vts fan and radiator where some stay with the vtr setup and im unsure whether i should change over or not!

Im going to be changing my driveshafts to as they have just started to sqeek is there anything else in the engine bay or suspension that you would reccommend replacing while i have easy access to everything?

Is there anything i should bare in mind or watch out for when im doing the conversion? I would rather take my time research and get all the bits i need before i start and not rush through it all!

as long as the engine bay loom plug matches the plug on the car (bottom right of engine bay) you shouldnt have any problems as long as you have correct ecu etc, the engine mounts are the same but you must have the mount which bolts on the block as a vtr wont fit due to the stud pattern on the block. the gearbox mount is the same too. other than that you should be fine with the fuel return, vtr cooling system is fine but vts is better if you're doing the job properly e.g fan, rad etc . good luck mate

I would also look at changing the timing belt and alternator belt while the vts engine is out. I dont know which mount is different has anyone got any pics of said mount that needs changing to the vts one?
