Gear linkages and short shift

  1. #1
Seeing as I'm going to be doing clutch and gearbox very soon it seems, I am going to also do a set of uprated linkages and a short shift at the same time (may aswell!)
So, can anyone suggest what is the best to go for and where to buy from please?

    Thanks!

i installed the quick shift from kam raceing on my vtr and its alot better, thinking about getting the gear linkages to are they hard to fit ?

i asked about uprating the linkages and was told not to really.

A lower engine mount gives a massive increase in the gear shift feel... feels very positive.

how hard are engine mounts to do?

short/quick shift id get from Griffiths engineering, they are like £23 BARGIN.

and as for linkages, i have rose jointed ones and didnt really notice any difference when i fitted them. suppose their main feature is they wont pop off when your giving it some round a track

i use the griffiths quick shift. defo bargin. doing the lower engine mount is a must.

ah i might just uprate the lower engine mount instead then

you'll feel a huge difference with the gear change and the feel of the car.its worth putting on the grittiths quick shift and greasing up the linkages.
