which clutch kit to go for?

    right then

    i have just purchased an xsi box and need a new clutch

    its 42quid for a valeo clutch kit
    but about 65quid for a LUK clutch kit, both include vat

    i dont know which to go for though, ive heard the LUK is better quality build, but ive heard good things about the valeo, so dont know whioch to get

    or is it just all down to personal preference, and is it worth that extra 25quid for the luk

    cause the only thing is it will be a special order for the valeo and it wont be here in time to fit either lol cause i can only get it fitted this sun otherwise i got to wait like a month which i dont think i can wait lol

    youve answered your own question then really if the Valeo wont arrive in time ...

    On amore serious note ive been looking at the same for my VTS

    Valeo = £73.00
    LUK= £82.00
    EBC= £65.00


    I'll probably end up goin for the LUK when the time comes....

    But haev heard you cant go wrong with Valeo either

    ahh haa i meant if the valeo was better, i would wait that extra month to fit, but if its only that little bit better or the same, or not as good as the luk i would go for that

    yer alot of people have given good feed back on the valeo

    i am just getting impatient though lol and want to fit the box asap, but still just wanted opinions really, even though ill probs end up going for LUK, just cause ive heard its a better build quality, and i cant go wrong for 65quid lol

    i have a fast road clutch brand new for a vtr only want £40 mate
    no use to me as getting a rst post for £10

    ok guys thanks for the posts and help

    im getting it from gsf carparts, i used to work there and plus my mate still works there and gets me everything on cost, so those prices are cost price inc vat, so you wont get prices like this anywhere else lol unless you work for a carparts company

    erm but if anyone does want a clutch go to gsf carparts, they do great prices i think

    on their website its 83quid for luk and 82 quid for valeo

    but if you go into the shop you will more than likely get it cheaper, as that price is retail, and they have another price under that thats for coutertrade lol or you could say its for trade and make somehting up and get it a bit cheaper lol haha

    but i still dont now which to go for, as a mate has luk in his turbo furio and he said its a great clutch so not sure, plus i just found out it will cost similar to the luk cause it will be special order from valeo so they are similar price now lol cause they dont have any in uk atm well gsf anyway lol
