Should i widemouth the front bumper

  1. #1
Hi Everyone, I want to alter my front end but cant decide what to do, do you think a widemouth would look good? Im not thinking of fitting the insert that streamline sell, just want to de-slat the lower grill. Do you think it would look good? Or is there something else that would look better.

    Thanks

badgeless grill aswell would help tidy it up a bit

im a newb, but im guessing widemouth is cutting away the centre slat in the bumper and meshing it over??

I like the grill as it is thanks but thanks for your suggestion.

Yes widemouth is removing the slats from the lower grill, see saxo 180's progress thread for a good example of this.

if you do it go for the deep mouth rather than the shallow one looks alot more original that way. saxojay's is shallow olik's is deep.

mines in the bodyshop now getting a deep widemouth along with a few other bits.. Its not cheap due because they have to fiberglass it but its well worth it.

how hard is it to look good after youve taken a hack saw to it do u just sand it down to make it smooth then either spray it or buy an insert im guessing if you buy an insert you dont have to spray it as it'll cover it up?

yeah correct it would cover it up. However as long as you dont go crazy and carefully cut it out you wouldnt be left with a great deal of mess. Have you seen saxo180's progresss thread? He has just had his done and it looks awesome.
