VTS 145+BHP PROVEN

on the pug performance website they say they can get vts/gti engine to 145bhp+ with flowed head, cams and manifold, does anyone know if this is any good for £1750 and what does flowed head mean, and do they remap it? if they dont would it increase much if i get it remapped aswell?

many have seen 140bhp with the above mods without a remap. with a remap and above mods 150>160 has been seen.

All at flywheel figures though which to be honest are a load of rubbish as they can only be guessed at.

i was thinking about that package from pug perfoamnce with the BTB exhuast, bmc enclosed induction and a remap hopefully it would be around 150 with remap

do you know if pug performance include remap with the package, i emailed them but they didnt reply

a 30 bhp increase with breathing mods. not a chance in hell.

i meant with the cams manifold and head flow, pug performane say it goes to 145bhp then if i add BTB, bmc and remap i would want it to go to 150bhp which is a 5bhp increase lol

is it worth it for that money? i searched forum and it seems pug performance takea long time doing work on cars, anyone been there?

would i be able to feel it if it did go to 150bhp with them mods?, im new

ive had a few things done there , they take ages and ages to do the work

you would certainly feel a difference whether its worth the money is up to you though

pug performance.... mates took his 106 back there a few times to get the manifold fitted properly... lil bit shoddy! look up tweekd automotive! theyre in the same area.... they were happy to Dump a mi-16 engine in my sax a while ago....

shame the funds werent there...!

i got my engine conversion done at pug performance left it with them for a week seen as it was a 700 mile round trip didnt take them the full week to do

sounds ok for the money mate i wouldnt bother trying to get answers out of them by email your better of phoning them but that may take about 20 mins before you get through its a busy phone line

decent exhaust and manifold and decent enclosed filter and cat 708s and jamsport remap and you will 155bhp ish at fly.

thats what am going for anyway.just need a remap now as i have all of the above parts.

How much did the cams set you back paul?
