iv just fitted a piper 4 - 1 manifold on my vtr mk2 and i got few problems.

1)the new manifold have 1 lamber sensore(standard 1 has 2 wich one should i use.
2)what i best was to exstend pamber sensor wire as both are too sort( solder or crimp) or is there any where i can buy a longer 1.
    3) with lamber sensor i ant useing what should i do with it

    cheers

Use the one that was plugged in before the cat on the standard one (the one nearest the engine)

It should be long enough - I'd solder and crimp before the sensor connector

Tuck the seconde lambda out the way - I have seen them jubilee'd in a bit of copper pipe.

It's all on this forum if you search

As above, the first lambda sensor (sits in the top of the manifold with the cover around it) with the green plug goes into the manifold as that adjusts your fueling. If you're fitting a decat pipe, you want the second sensor with the blue connector sleeved so it reads clean air.

yh got a de cat on the manifold its a piper one from gmc motorsport. so the one with the green plug needs to go back into the manifold and the one with the blue plug. where sould i put that one ?

The blue one needs to go into a sleeve mate. If you PM williamsvts he might be able to make you one, failing that GMC sell them.

There's an ideal place to cable tie it infront of the gearbox - you'll see when you're under the car.
