Heat resistant paint

  1. #1
I want to airbrush a design onto my rocker cover. I can't find any heat resistant paint to use? I've looked at hammerite but the only heat resistant one was barbecue paint and I'd preferably like multiple colours. Anyone recommend some?

Not sure I probs didn't look hard enough!

I've only refurbed one of the wheels so far. Did it gloss white and it looks spot on bud! But not on the car yet.

Only have the VT* rear bumper haha, ran out of funds for the rest so waiting till payday. Shouldn't be too long before it's looking good. I'll keep you posted

    Hows your 16v beast?

I'll pm it tomorrow morning. Um it wasn't too hard tbh. But just took a lot of time and effort for the sanding. Also the wheels seemed to smell of cow shit inside, I seem to recall you telling me you lived on a farm?

I'm off now bud talk later.

If anyone has any paint suggestions please post

your rocker doesn't get that hot so you won't need heat resistant paint just the normal halfords stuff will do

In Huddersfield Halfords they sell heat resistant paint in the body repair section.

Normal paint will be perfectly fine on your rocker cover.

    Same process as usual

    Primer

    Paint

    Lacquer
