  4. #4
As above just take the bulb out

Put your hand down the side where the back of the light is and push on the unit to get the fascia off, then just take the bulb out and click the fascia back in the square

I would thinks so as all neons need r electric the same as the boot light. if u take the plug out the back of the boot light it should have 2 terminals a + ans a - jst wack them on ur neons... how ever dont quote me on that but seems simples.

Use a multimeter to determine which wire is which, easy things to use and saves the car going up in flames
  13. #13
so i could cut it off an put the cable on the bit an it shoud work
  14. #14
    wats a mutli meter

It tests the wire for instance, if you want to find the illumination

use the black prong on multimeter on an earth and the red on the wire, when you turn sidelights on the voltage will jump up to 12 volts, turn them off and it will fall back to 0 volts, best way to deterine which wires are which

Oh also has settings on the multimeter, usually for a car its 12 votls, settings sometimes hav 9 volts and then have say 20 volts, you would pick the 20 volt setting so it would detect anything below 20 volts to 9 volts

all meters are different, just read the manual you get with them and it should help you determine what settings are what

Yeah use a multimeter before attempting to wire up, unless you know exactly what your doing. Pred told me to do this a while back unfortuantly ild already screwed the light up.
    learnt the hard way
