New wheels. Will they make much difference?

   I have some standard vtr rims to put on my 1.1. I've noticed that these wheels are pretty heavy and I'm guessing are heavier than the steelies that are on at the moment.
   
   My car is stupidly slow as it is and was just wondering will it be massively slower with the new wheels?

   its lugging more weight so will be slower but you wont notice it its like 0.00000001 slower with new wheels pump your tyres to full presure as that helps running on not the right pressure is bad for car and slows down car
