Fog Tinting (Is there a guide)

    mate just rap them in sum dark tights does the job then if you get pulledc then just take them off lol simple

    take fogs out, put in the oven to seperate the glue for 5 mins at 200degress

    take the insert out
    prep it with 400 grit
    prime
    paint black
    refit
    reseal and fit back on the car

    Which way in the oven do you put the fog? i.e Glass facing down.. etc?

    I tried it, put it in oven for a good 15 mins on 180 degrees, but still couldn't prise the glass off. Gave up in the end 2bh.

    i just sat them in how they sit in the bumper with the glass facing out towards the oven door, got an old knife gave it a twist and pop they came apart.

    what do you reseal them with?
    thinking of doing my headlights

    That's how i had mine. Didn't budge at all. Even the metal bracket was able to be bent! Might give it another bash on Wednesday! Really want to do this.

    either warm up the original glue again or get yourself a tube of sls STICKS LIKE SHIT or any thick glue

    never heard of anybody having this issue just dont leave them in there for 3 hours at 200degrees :Y:

    give it another go mate just remove all clips etc, just get the oven pre heated to about 200c then leave it 5 mins check, put in for another 5 mins check again keep doing it till the come apart.
    try sitting the lights on some tin foil. for a better result

    when doing my headlights i pushed the glass back on then used a hairdryer to heat uo the seals again and they are sound got good seal and clips back on all is good
