    Checked the fan is working?

    Thermostat may have packed up?

Is there oil in the water?

Mine kept running hot and it was because the head gasket and gone and was leaking oil into the water, and obviously oil doesn't cool the engine like water does.

Before you get the head gaset done, try flushing out the rad and refilling, properly bleeding the system.

ok willdo... how will iget rid of all the slug in the water though?

    sluge*

Take the rad off and empty it it the rest of the system should drain when you remove the rad, just have buckets or trays under each pipe/hole to catch the contaminated water.

*Goes to find receipt for head gasket*

May also need the head skimming if it is distorted, so this will be more again, luckily that didn't need doing on mine but if your going to get it done get a trusted mechanic to check it all and decide whether or not thee head needs skimming

oh right ok... i was thinking of chaning them every 6 months so i get best response... or buy better ones so i dont have to change so often lol
  21. #21
Every 6 months seems abit often, unless your doing loads of miles and lots of hevay braking?

To improve brake response you want braided brake lines really, and perforamce pads if you want long life and good stopping power.

Speak to Kam Racing on here or look on their website, they stock pads, disks and brakelines, really helpful too if you ask them a question!
