roll cage

   I was thinking bout putting a roll cage into my mk1 vtr. Does any1 know about a gd place 2 get a good 1 cheap from or got 1??

   what will you be using the car for and what do you class as cheap (mine was 1200 quid so not cheap but most are over 300 quid + fitting)
   
   cages in road cars are bad ideas imo

   im looking myself theres omp fia approved 10 point ones on ebay for £382. dunno wheather thats a good price or not as i havent looked into it with any depth yet till ive got the wonga sat and waiting.

   omps are good cages
   i prefer the safety devices stuff but im a whore

   omp cages can be awkward to fit

   omp half cage for the road, full cage for the track, you can pick up a half cage for about £200,
   
   the ebay omp cages are a fairly good price as its a struggle to get them at the moment and they havent them in stock apparently

   safety devices cages are so much better built than the omp cages......fitted fer few in frends rally cars........

   without a doubt they are but not everyone can afford there prices or need there quality of cage
