fuel tank

    when my mk2 vts is on the red in fuel and i fill it up to the max it only takes around £27 quid, it has been like it for ages and it confused me as i had a mk2 vtr before and it took a lot more fuel.
    could my float be bent or something?
    what else could it be?

    yer it could be the float is not giving you a good reading

    do all saxos have the same size fuel tank and same float etc?

    same tank i know the vtr/vts have the same float

    thought so, there must be something wrong with mine
    how much does it cost roughly to fill a vts/vtr at todays prices approx?

    what would u advise me getting
    can u get the float assembly or is the sender unit a part of it?

    well take it out and inspect it for damage. also check its moving freely

    ive got a spare vts pump and float if you cant solve it bud

    thats a coinsidence lol, i just assumed when i first got my vts that the tanks were smaller

    how much u wanting for the pump and float delivered? if mine looks knackered i will be very interested

    just to let everyone know i got a fuel sender unit for my car last week and it fixed the problem. so now you all know what is wrong with your car if you have the same problem

    also the vts one is different to the vts as i rang up shitroen, dont know what the retail was but i got it for £60 geniune from my dads business discount so its not too much
