I was going to buy some new alloys but now ive decided to paint them if its not going to be too much hastle. So i take it i need to sand them down, wet and dry, prime and then paint a glossy white? any tips? thanks for the help in advance

#3alright mate... wet dry them. or paint stripper then sand. mask up the wheels. primer got few coats leave for around 30 mins between each coat same again with the gloss white then laquer them

#5yeh quality lads. so its quite an easy job then? ive colour coded my bumpers and they came out lovely, just needing to laquer them now. Im guna go ahead with this then next weekend when i've got some spair time

#6Just another question actully, how long do i need to leave the primer to dry? and how long do i need to leave the paint, cuz if i do it saturday i'll need it by atleast monday to drive to work.

#11i left mine next to a rad for 3 days got tyres fitted and the wheels were proper dry, store them next to rad and should be dry withing 48 hours1 user thanked this post:

#12can you just use any paint on the wheels like spray can from halfords, ect. i just can find anything that says use certain paint

#17rip them off mate, they pop back on and if the poppers break you can always go and get them from a scrap yard

#18sorry didnt even say how to do it lol. well after there off, sand them down, wet and dry, so there realllllly smooth, and then spray with prime and leave over night if you want it to look like a professional job. Then spray very light coats of paint on, leaveing between 5-10 mins for each coat. keep spraying like this till they look like u want them to and ur done
